Project goal
We produced the electrical schematics for nine PLC groups of conveyor line stations in a paint shop. The scope also covered calculations, the I/O map and the network device list.
Project timeline
The stages in the order the scope was delivered.
- 01 / Stage
System layouts
Under the client’s supervision, we created the layouts of the designed systems in EPLAN Electric P8.
- 02 / Stage
Load calculations
We calculated the current loads for the 400 V AC and 24 V DC networks.
- 03 / Stage
PLC group schematics
We produced the schematics of the stations assigned to each PLC in the Integra 7.0 standard, based on the project data sheet, layouts and drive lists.
- 04 / Stage
Thermal calculations
Once the control cabinet designs were complete, we ran their thermal calculations in Rittal Therm.
- 05 / Stage
Review and handover
Every package, with its I/O map and network device list, went through internal review before it was sent.
Challenge
The project meant mastering the extensive Integra 7.0 standard and working through input data in several formats. Every group went through internal review before handover.
Result
We delivered the documentation for all PLC groups on schedule. Each group came together faster than the last, thanks to a structured way of working with the standard and the input data.
